Nebraska Life

Huskers run out of tunnel
The crowd goes wild
Stadium  shakes
I hear it from my little town 200 miles away
Nebraska's spirit spreads throughout
Family joy
Farms for all the country
Living/working on a farm
Playing football is one of our favorite sports in Nebraska

Found poem from Dr. Pauschs last lecture

His elephant in his room
Had many C.A.T scans around the world
Kids loved his weird family
Many people were phenomenally good to him
He does a few thing for his elephant
His elephant played NFL
Elephant which is the elephant name
Elephant was like a brick wall in NFL

Extended Metaphor must read

Life is a Monster
As you grow you become scared
The claws of the monster will get you
Someday you will have taxes
As you grow older
The monster starts clawing you
Soon you have life alert
Then your in a coffin
Your going to Heaven
Rejoicing!
The monster has let go!

Poem 3

Rainstorms feel wet
Rainstorms make my body cold
Rainstorms small like worms
Rainstorms smell like fishes
Rainstorms look like blue/clear crystals falling down upon you
Rainstorms look like grey clouds when they start
Rainstorms sound like water knocking on a window
Rainstorms sound like pat pat pat
Rainstorms tastes like fresh delicious yummy water

Poem 2

Brook
It means amazing, athletic, cool
It is the number 18
It is like aqua
It is when we went tubing
It is the memory of Mack
Who taught me courage and love
When he showed courage was when he took cancer tumors head on he also showed love bye living long enough to see us again before he passed
My name is Brook

It means have courage and live

Poem 1

Happy during holidays
Open season every season
Loud and crazy all the time
Imagination and creation
Days of joy and joining together with family
America has a lot of holidays
Years go bye and there will always be another holiday
Singing and dancing together

Blind Sight

BLINDSIGHT
By Brook Colfack

Sacrifice in the movie Blindsight is when the children and the leaders sacrificed their trip to stay as a group. Tashi, Kylia, and Sonam sacrificed their trip so the other kids could make it to the top of the peak. I have had to Sacrifice myself at a football game to get a touchdown pass. I’ve also sacrificed myself for my sister so she could go swimming. Sacrifices are a key to life.

America America Freeeeeedom freedom

American Freedom

America is a land of the free and the brave. All of the people that live in America respect our Fighters in the Army, Air force, Marines, Coastguard, and Navy. The meaning of American Freedom is the Definition of Freedom, Personal Connections, and Kinds of Freedom.
The definition of freedom is simple to Americans and will be described below. First is the Sacrifices made by our veterans. That is the only reason why we are free. Second is that freedom does not come free and it doesn’t mean you can do whatever you want to do. There are laws. You can do many things that the Government does not tell you to do it. Last is that you control your own future so make it a good one.
These are my personal connections to America. I love guns and how we can hunt freely. I always feel safe in America because of our strong defenses. Also my Great Grandpa, Carl, was in WWII and he tells all these stories of him in battle.
There are many different types of Freedom. Freedom to bare arms which means we can have guns to hunt and to keep for safety. Freedom of Speech, which means you can speak any language or speak about anything. Also there is Freedom of Religion which means you can believe in any religion. There are many more freedoms in America.
Now that you have read American Freedoms meaning, Personal connections, and Kinds of Freedom you can tell your family what you have learned. Words of advice are, respect our Freedom because people fought for it and died for it.

GHOST!!!!!!!!!

Ghost at OHS

Did you know that there is a ghost in O’Neill High School? Well you will figure out about him if you go there. When you walk in you might hear him talking, shouting, and running up and down the halls. He runs around and shouts in people’s ear saying his name, Munk Detect.
If you run into him in the halls he might jump out of a locker and scare the wits out of you. In class you can hear Munk slamming the lockers and scratching the chalkboard to creep you out. Munk decides when he shows himself to you. Watch your book bag, he might take your pens and pencils! He loves pens, pencils, and markers. In his living area which is under the bleachers on the football field, he has a collection of markers, pens, and pencils.
Munk wears funky clothes. His favorite set of clothes is his slick black suit, but most the time he wears his shredded shirt, ripped pants, and gross shoes. He has slicked dirty blonde hair. He is very muscular. His face is all ripped up and gross from when he was a detective when he was alive. So the stories are true, O’Neill has a ghost, and his name is Munk.

Halloween Hogwarts

Hogwarts Halloween
:::::Applications:Microsoft Office 2008:Office:Media:Clipart: Food & Dining.localized:AA026335.png      As Harry and me walked into the Great Hall we see amazing things. As we look around we see pumpkins hanging from the ceiling looking at us funny. The ceiling of the Great Hall was astonishing with the realistic thunder echoing though the Hall. Then all of a sudden bats fly in-between Harry and me and scare us. As we made our way to the seats we saw skeletons hanging from the ceiling, which was extremely creepy.
:::::Applications:Microsoft Office 2008:Office:Media:Clipart: Food & Dining.localized:AA026337.png      We were sitting down at the table full of empty plates when BAM the plates were filled with food. There were Prime rib and cheese balls (oh how I like cheese balls) and much more foods of great deliciousness. Such a big feast for all of us this is going to be awesome. I already had the taste the food in my mouth.

As Harry and me looked around we saw many different activates. One side of the Hall there was Broom racing and a game of hide and seek. At the other end there was Ghost roaming and very weird games going on. When we got every thing cleaned up we went to our rooms

HAPPY HALLOWEENand slept.

Nursery Rhymes

"Ding, dong, bell..."
Ding, dong, bell,
Pussy cat is in the well!
Who
threw her in?
Little Tommy Green.
Who
ripped her out?
Giant Johnny Stout.

What a evil boy was that,
To drown poor pussy-cat,
Who never did him any harm,
But
sliced the mice in his father's barn!

An Unforgettable School Day

One day on a steaming, humid day where every one was sweating. There was screams and howls in the little town of O’Neill. Im now looking around outside and deciding what to play. There are many different games being played. To my left there was a football game, to my right there was a soccer game. Then there was all the playground equipment.
I was at recess when I decided to play football our team scored a touchdown. Then on the kick off the other team scored witch tied it up the game. We lost the ball next possession. The other team scored off it and recess was almost over so our team decided on what to do on kick off.
Then it happened i was diving for the ball and I heard a crunch and pain came through my hand as I look at my hand I saw a kid standing on it. I got up and continued playing then my hand started to puff up. After recess we went to P.E i told coach that my hand hurt and I couldn't dribble the basket ball.
When coach set me home I went to the doctors and he took a x ray of my hand. He asked me what happened i told him about football and how someone stepped on it. So he told me i split my knuckle and he gave me a hand cast. He told me every once in a while i would have to take it off to wash my hand. i couldn't write or do any thing that included my hand.
I learned never put your hand in a dangerous position or bad things could happen to it. I was lucky that it was just my knuckle and not my whole hand or else that would of taken about 8 weeks. Luckily my hand healed in 4 weeks.Im doing better now and my hand healed and i never put it in danger again.

Six word story

Vote Brook for a great president
Bedroom Writing

Here is my room. I love my room there is my Xbox sitting on a desk gleaming like the night sky. And then there is my brother Baylee. Baylee always is crazy and weird most of the night and day. I have a closet a very small closet. It fits perfectly in the corner of my room it stores my favorite games and clothes. That closet looks like a fridge in the kitchen but it has bigger doors of mahogany.

There’s my bow sitting on top of my closet camouflaged into my brown paint like a stick bug on a tree branch. My bed sits lowly until night comes waiting for me to lay down and rest. I have 2 lava laps one glows brightly in the dark night like room. The other one i don’t use much because that is my favorite it shines bright like the ocean under the sunlight. Im rich beyond measure.
